When you ask the typical person to think of an Aston Martin, they likely will call up to memory the Vanquish, even if they have no idea what it is called. The first generation Vanquish's role in the James Bond movie 'Die Another Day' greatly heightened awareness of an excellent example of perfection on wheels. The styling was revolutionary at the time, especially the large sculpted rear fenders that mimicked muscular shoulders and the gaping front

grille adorned with a prominent grid.

Aston Martin worked tirelessly on the first generation of the Vanquish, starting in 1998 with the Project Vanquish concept car. Numerous engineering innovations went into the final product, which debuted in 2001. The Vanquish was the first Aston Martin to feature a bonded aluminum chassis, a body tub composed of aluminum and carbon fiber, plus an occupant safety cage made of more carbon fiber and

composite materials. The Superformed aluminum body panels were crafted to perfection by hand. A capable V-12 engine produced four-hundred and sixty horsepower and was mated to a six-speed manual transmission controlled by electro-hydraulic paddle shifters.

From 2005 to 2007 the Vanquish S took up the torch with a more powerful V-12 engine that produced five-hundred and twenty horsepower.
