Automotive Perfection Returns: as the Aston Martin Vanquish

Stylistic changes included stylish and functional hood vents on the passenger and driver's side, an even larger grille for improved engine cooling, a front splitter, and a discrete rear spoiler that was integrated into the trunk lid.

Aston Martin made no secret that for the 2012 Vanquish the automaker set out to craft the greatest vehicle in the company's history, which was ambitious considering that history stretches back in excess of one

hundred years. The result is nothing less

than breathtaking. The carbon fiber body panels feature a sleeker, more aggressive look, especially the hulking fender curvature over both the front and rear wheels that make the car looks like a panther about to pounce.  

The design of the second generation Aston Martin Vanquish creates a strong connection to motorsports. Like the Vanquish S, the car features a front splitter,

but it has a menacing look thanks to the angular design. Exposed carbon fiber weave is visible on the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser, emphasizing the aero performance parts. The front grille is distinctly Aston Martin, but is not nearly as wide as on the first generation car, plus the horizontal members of the grid are more visible than the vertical members, giving the grille a sleeker overall look.  The lights are the jewelry of the car, especially the
